DIY: Baby goat snow globe

Hello Tevet! We recently began this new month on the Jewish calendar. Tevet is known for the start of winter, and also for the baby goat (kid) or gedi in Hebrew (so cute)! We’re celebrating this new season by making a very special snow globe. You can read more about the gedi and see the process to make your very own winter wonderland too!

DIY: Froggy crowns

We’re hopping into Passover celebrations by making DIY froggy crowns! In the Passover story, hundreds, probably thousands of frogs, rained down from the sky all over Egypt. The lifecycle of a frog reminds us that we are always growing and changing - leaving something behind and gaining something better. So hop to it! Let’s go make a froggy crown!

DIY: Edible turkey

We thought it would be fun to make our own edible baby turkey - in honor of our upcoming “Turkey Day,” (Thanksgiving) which will be celebrated later this month in the United States. This is very easy to make - even for young children.

DIY: Farm animal ears

I remember having the most important conversations with my daughters about animals when they were very young.  We would sit together, and I would say to Stefie, “A cow says, hmmm, let me think…quack quack, a sheep says oink oink,” and Stefie would laugh gleefully at the ridiculousness of me getting my animal sounds mixed up!
